It has comes to my attention (through my shoddy memory's cold iron fist) that I may have been misleading regarding a few things, and as such assumptions might well have been made about some things I talked about in previous blogs. What are these things?
Reactions.
A few times now I have made blogs reacting to a few negative situations, such as people pointing out what is "correct" and my own views on constructive criticism. Having read through them again, I realized I may have accidentally blown things slightly out of proportion.
So I'll try and correct that now.
Whenever I post a blog or author's note regarding an issue in the comments section or my own reaction to what my readers are saying and doing, it's not because the situation has gotten out of hand and Flame Wars are sprouting. It's because I have seen similar situations start on the comments section of other stories from other authors, and they let it get too far and wind up with a large mess to clean up afterwards. When I post a blog about something like this, the situations I may be speaking of have not yet reached that point, and in fact I have only dealt with maybe three or four people causing an issue.
I am merely trying to head off potentially larger issues by nipping it in the bud. I apologize if I made it seem like the issues were larger than they were. That was not my intention, but rather to keep them from becoming that big of an issue. I accept responsibility if anyone felt I was overreacting to things, and again apologize for such.
I will of course try and make this clear the next time some kind of issue pops up and I need to clear the air, but I felt I should say something here.
Well Done, It's good to know you go all out to avoid flame warts...
Btw, I shoved a bit of backstory for Poncho The Red in a blog post about the Future Diary...
