based on the internationally famous anime of the same name, a college student named Light discovers a mysterious notebook called the Death Note, which has the power to kill anyone who's name is written in it. Seeing it as the opportunity to change the world for the better, Light uses the Death Note to kill all who he views as evil. instead, he goes mad with power, attracting the attention of the Death Notes original owner, the Shinigami (Grim Reaper) Ryuk.
and in the not too distant future, April 14th AD, a cult classic returns.
