Ugh… I should really stop doing this…
I was in an absolute panic during that last blog post. Stuff in my life was going horribly wrong that day, and I wasn't thinking straight at all. I made a much too rash decision to cancel "Sunset Shimmer: The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well" and "The Star Child." I should never have done that, especially after hearing how disappointed you all are, and I'm deeply sorry for making you worry like that. I've calmed down quite a bit since then, and I have some good news and bad news.
These two stories WILL continue, I promise you guys that. "Sunset-Do-Well" is no longer on hiatus, which I'm very glad for. Especially since I have plans for a sequel of sorts, starring (THE GREAT AND POWERFUL!!!) Trixie Lulamoon in the same universe. Not quite a superhero story, but she'll be caught up in her own adventure.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for "The Star Child," on account of currently being unable to get in touch with my co-author, who is also a very close friend of mine. That story will be on hiatus until things get completely sorted out.
It still might take a while until the next chapter comes out, but I will try my best to work on it. I won't let you guys down. Sunset Shimmer's heroic adventure isn't over yet.
EDIT: I've gotten back in touch with my co-author for "The Star Child", and that story will be continuing.

Don't feel you have to force yourself to do anything that you aren't ready for, Joey. Do this in your own time and when you're ready, not because you think that you owe us anything.
I'm glad that you're better and decided to continue with Sunset-Do-Well, but don't rush yourself. Work on the next chapter at your own pace.

Glad to see you are feeling better man. Take all the time you need. I'm just glad to see that Sunset-Do-Well is not really cancelled.
The first time you did this, I stopped following SSMDW, then several days later, you took that cancellation back. I thought you would do the same again, and I'm glad you took it back again. But doing this is making you seem very impulsive.
Internal vrs External.
Criticism is important, a good story respects a compromise between what you want to do, what the reader wants, and proper story telling. You're so worried about what we think, how much of those stories are doing what you want now, even if it is cheesy and shameless?
Stop making apologetic blog posts, write for fun, and when you like what you did and think it's good, post it. Don't stress time, you've been dun goofin' that anyway. 95% of the site isn't consistent, it's not worth condemning yourself. Relax, calm down~! This is a MLP fanfic site, at the end of the day in bed, we might as well not exist in your world~
Nose to the grind, and eyes towards the sky~! Just make sure you don't look like you're doing cocaine.
Glad to hear you're doing better, man. Take care of yourself though, and don't forget to breathe.
