I haz a story

Yep, finally put one up here. As the author notes say, its not a new one, its an old one, third version actually. Each version has been longer, the second only by a little bit as the changes were minor, but this one was a ground up re-write that grew by some 350 or so words. Nothing really great there, bit of BDSM, not real surprising considering my other writings (look for Fluxxx on FA and Mr Phibb in various places on the web), but still something fun.

One thing you might find odd is the mention of two do hours which is a day in dozenal (base 12) time. I've been rolling around head cannon on differences in things between Equestria and the real world. Going with dozenal time is a last minute thing, but why not? There's a fairly good argument for it, its easy to count on one's fingers (you can count to twelve on each hand), and twelve is very common in the world. Twelve inches in a foot, thirty-six inches (3x12) in a yard, twelve months in a year, things are sold by the dozen and/or the bushel (12x12), and so on. Arguably we use base 10 in the real world as we have ten fingers, but since ponies don't have fingers, their numbering system is going to need another reason behind it, and dozenal is a very good choice.

I was considering things like a twenty-six hour day, a ST:DS9 reference, but tossed it in favor of this. The calendar though is still up in the air, I'm considering a version of my thirteen month calendar idea although having twelve equal months of 30 days is very much an option. Maybe 362 days in a year and twelve months of thirty days? The two extra are holidays, the longest and shortest days of the year which stand on there own and aren't part of any month? The possibilities are endless obviously.

Any how, back to the story, and stories in general, in Pony Sacked we have my OC Trail Cutter, formarly my ponysona enjoying a bit of self bondage that ends as a kidnapping with his fate unknown. I've no plans for a sequel/second chapter, but that isn't to say it won't happen. Also in the works ifn I can get motivated are three stories featuring Luna, the best princess. One uses my namesake and current ponysona to drive a short story with her talking about her past, the second is a Tuna (or TwiLuna ifn you prefer) fic hinging on the events in Twilight's KIngdom with only minor history changes (basically she spends time in Canterlot during the 4th season learning to be a princess and an alicorn), and finally an epilogue for someone else's story starring Luna.

That latter one is likely to be the first released, its mostly written, just need to work on a few details, help wanted. Lets see, I need to find a good poem, song or incantation to the moon/Selene/Luna and convert it to Noctraliyar which will be a challenge considering how horrible I am with languages, worse than Corben Dallas. Other than that, there's prolly going to be some tweaks to certain details like the castle hand off scene, but no significant changes. I haven't decided ifn I want to bring an editor in or not, re-writing the story to fix grammar problems would ruin it for me, and Google Docs sees to spelling and word usage issues, so I'm kinda happy with what I have.

So what does the future hold? Who knows, I mean heck, earlier I posted a poem I wrote, and seeing as how I dislike poetry (hate's too strong a word), obviously my muse sometimes holds surprise.
