I know that I haven't published anything in a while, but fear not: I have not been idle. I've had the pleasure of serving as editor for two of my absolute favorite clop authors on the site, Moon Dream's very own OTP of James Light and Hardcover. The former is the proud owner of the ballsiest group on fimfiction (and one personally near and dear to my heart), Family Jewels. The latter is probably best known for his fellatrix tour de force, The Life and Times of Deepthroat Cockslut, which is something of an inspiration for my own work.
Anyway! Ya'll can see some of what I've been working on below the break.
Cadance and Shining's continued foray into the world of
banging as many foreign dignitaries as possiblediplomacy! Didn't read season 1? No problem! Just breeze through the "Previously..." chapter and move onto theclopdiplomacy!
For those who aren't in the know, CAD is James Light's flagship clopfic... and what a clopfic it is! It's full of sex, and diplomacy. Sexual diplomacy. Diplomatic sex. There's a lot going on in this story.
While I did not edit the first "season," I did enjoy it enough to offer my services and extensively edit the first two chapters of the second. I believe the original draft was something like 20,000 words, and the final is 13k, which we've been working together on off-and-on for... uh, half a year? The point is, the author is putting a hell of a lot of effort into this story, and it shows.
Well-crafted story page, with custom-photoshopped artwork. Clever intros and outros. Gorgeous formatting. Smooth prose. Em-dashes. A fourth period when the ellipsis is at the end of a sentence.
Oh, gods. Is it just me, or is it getting hot in here?
...Ahem. What I'm trying to say is, it's a great series, and one that I'm proud to be a part of. I'm ESPECIALLY excited for the upcoming chapter which, if you're a fan of "Alicorn Milk," may be of special interest to you as well. Check it out!
With no Elements of Harmony to stop her, Nightmare Moon returns to Equestria, instilling fear into the sun-loving ponies with eternal night and her new, mighty cock. But if she's to truly rule Equestria, she must defeat her sister for good.
Even if Nightmare Moon is uncertain about how to feel about her new genitals and all that comes with them, she's prepared to take down Celestia's reign by whatever means necessary.
This story must clearly be the alpha and the omega of pony porn, for it is not only written by the great master of testicular fortitude himself, Hardcover, but it is both commissioned AND edited by none other than yours truly.
After seeing the fantastic almost-off-the-cuff work he did with my main mare Nightmare Moon in his February Request Drive, Celestia's Nightmare, I really wanted to see what he could do in a lengthier, (somewhat) more serious piece in a similar vein. And so, Nightmare's Reign was born!
...It is darker than "Milk" and features NC sex, it's true, and if that's not of interest to you, I understand. But if the idea of alicorns ruling with their mighty Scepters and drawing power from their dark Orbs excites you, then I don't think that this story will disappoint.
There IS a bit of a shift between the first and second chapters away from the external conflict Nightmare Dominatrix versus Celestia to the internal Nightmare Moon versus Nightmare Cock, a disparity which I accept full responsibility for. The story will always be a bit episodic, but hopefully it'll be more consistent from here on out.
Anyhow. It's shaping up to be a heck of a lot of fun, especially for anyone as interested in futa, ballplay/worship, and domination themes as I am (not to mention characterization, dialogue, etc.), and I know that I'm not the only one eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Anyone interested who wants to check it out (and maybe leave an encouraging comment or two for the author) would be doing me a personal favor.
