For the few of you that still care about this, no, this series isn't completely dead. My mate and I have, for several reasons, taken a break from writing; however, there are still plans to finish this story, and all the various loose ends surrounding it soon (maybe... eventually...).
In the meantime, I've been busying myself with going over the entirety of the story so far and updating it completely. It was a labor of love that brought back some fond memories of just how fucked up Starshadow was when we started this... And how slightly less fucked she became towards the end, er, I mean, all that character growth. This rewrite fixes the nagging spelling and grammatical errors, along with adding new scenes, extending some scenes, fixing a few continuity errors, and most importantly, more Derpy!
The project is already completely finished, but so far it is only updated through Submissive Sister and Fixing Friendship, because reuploading these is a bit of a pain in the ass... I'll leave a separate journal when Starfall is updated, hopefully shortly.
Shoot, I really should get back into reading this story. I remember being really curious as to where it was gonna go (I read past the initial fic and was on the continuation).
Ooh, neat.
It was easily one of the more fascinating and raw looks at sexual psychology. Technically not the first I'd seen related to MLP, but it was really interesting to see a violent expression that doesn't revel in that expression.
Also, I really wanted to know where you were going with that pony Ninja guy.
