Follow up Blog and Q and A#1 · 12:53pm Mar 19th, 2017
Hello everyone, this is a follow-up blog that addresses some of the things I forgot to mention or tell you in the previous blog and also this is my first Q and A blog. Every Sunday I'll pick a certain amount of questions and answer them. Now, these questions could be about anything from me to my stories to the show and what I think about certain characters and events in the show. Also thanks to all of you who showed support after I posted that first blog, you have no idea how much it means to me.
Anyway, one of the things I forgot to mention was my name. I've considered changing it from lawr2389 to something else. I've got a few ideas for a new name but I haven't completely decided what exactly. but I'll let you guys know in advance what and when I am changing the name.
Secondly, I'm currently signed up for an app called Animo. It's a social media app but you can join different communities, meet people with similar interests, create polls and chats, and even form your own community with your friends if you'd like, and it's totally free. One of the things I like about it is you can fully customise your account for each Community you join so you can have different usernames and profile pictures for each one. So currently I am in two communities, the Equestria Amino and the FimFiction Amino, both of them under my name and with my new profile picture that I uploaded earlier this week. So feel free to download the app, sign up and talk to me about whatever you want.
Well, I've covered pretty much all I wanted to, so let's get moving on with this week's questions.
First Question, speedking535 asks: is this story before kingdom hearts 1 but after birth by sleep?
So the story takes place during the events of 358/2 days, meaning it happens in between Sora entering Castle Oblivion and waking up in KH2
Second Question, johnnyomon21 asks: please tell me there's a sequel!?
With 'Time for Spike to be a kid', that;s a story I don't really see writing a sequel for. I'm happy with how it's ended and how it has gone, so I'm very sceptical to continue the story along. I could do it, I have the vaguest idea as what to continue about, but I just don't see a need to do that. It ain't broke, don't fix it.
Third Question, OmniFox asks: What if Celestia decides to drop everything and spends some time with her dragon son?
That's a different story, something which I may include in a certain Spike story that hasn't been updated for nearly three years.
Fourth and last question for this week, the question that has been hounding me for years.
When are you updating 'Spike's New Life'?
Alright, this story is one that confuses me the most out of almost every story on this site. Allow me to explain and finally tell you guys what seems to be obvious. I have no goddamn clue how to continue this story. I created the story back in 2013, at a time in my life where I was very different from who I am today, and back then I would usually create and publish a story rather quickly because of a fear of someone else creating the story, publishing it first and then when I made mine I would get hate for copying the writer who published it first, which has lead to all the incomplete stories that are on my page. I made the story on the simplest idea, having Spike the dragon say 'fuck it, I'm out.' and leaving the library. That's it, I threw in additional characters and all these skills for Spike to fill up the minimum word amount because I had a hard time writing decent sized chapters and at the last minute. I looked back on my thought process and I thought to myself 'Where do I go from here?' Good news is I am now actually planning out the story, and have a plan for what the third chapter will be like, so hopefully, I can start writing that soon. And now after writing for so long, Ii can write chapters from 1000-4000 words with ease, so the story should become more developed.
That wraps it up for this weekly Q and A, although depending and the speed of the questions I might make future Q and A's fortnightly or even monthly. See all of you later, and thanks for reading.
