Exciting Happenings! · 1:24pm Mar 16th, 2017
So, it's been nearly a year since my last blog post. Giving you guys another update seems about right.
Anyway, real life is crazier than ever, but I have somehow managed to find time for writing regardless. Listening to the 'Writing Excuses' podcast during my commute has really helped with this. If anyone out there is having a problem writing or just needs a motivator, listening to them discuss and debate the mechanics of writing always makes me want to go work on my own stories and tweak this and that in my own outlines.
As many of you know April Fools is one of my favorite internet holidays. And if you didn't know, you should have. I do something to celebrate it every year. This year, however, I'm taking it easy with the surprises and letting you all know my plans in advance. On April first I'm going to:
- Release a brand new non-sequel story
- Permanently delete one of my stories
- Publish a sequel to one of my much beloved older stories
- Reveal my true identity to the world
But... two of the above are lies.
Anyway, Happy Spring!
EDIT: Items one and three are two different things, so I made that bit more clear.
Goodbye, Gregor McAwesome. Hello, The Brony Guard Marches on Tartarus.
Pssh. You ain't gunna delete a story nor are ya going to reveal your face. No balls.
Deleting a story and revealing your true identity seem like obvious lies... but that could be just wthat you want us to think.
The first and third one are pretty much the same so I'm going to guess that two and four are false.
So 1 and 3 could be the same story, so those are probably the true ones :P
Ive heard good things about Writing Excuses. And as I really enjoy Sanderson's books I might have to give it a listen.
Finally we're going to get confirmation for what we've all suspected. Psychic is actually just the FiM account for Jim Butcher.
I have no interest in who you are in real life, if fact i prefer not to in case we have very different opinions on important issues.
So i guess i better copy your stories to my hard drive just in case.
