Priorities and stuff... · 10:06pm Sep 29th, 2012
As much as I want to write my Blackmail Crime some more, I'm not entirely comfortable with continuing the chapters until I have a solid plot line set in stone. This requires a bit of time as you both know (Secrets & Lies and Boomstick). I'm currently in college going full time as well as having an active social life. As cool as both of these sound, I hardly have enough time to keep up with my recent updated favorite stories, let alone find time to continue brainstorming. Now does this mean that eventually I will lose interest in this story and put it up on a shelf to rust away?
Hell no.
I find myself daydreaming about the story itself and the characters that I have created in the story as I walk to and from campus. When I somehow have time to myself, my thoughts draw back to the story. While listening to music, I have some favorite songs I like to listen to frequently because the tone of each song matches up really well with how Blackmail Crime will go. This story means a lot to me, and I don't want to squander the story because I was too impatient to make it really good. Will my first ever fanfiction be amazing? I dunno. I just need to work on it as hard as I can, and hope for the best. What if my story hardly gets any attention, even after it is completed? I really could care less about attention. If it catches on, then yay! If just a mere lack of interest, then w/e. I will continue anyway. If I get a lot of hate because of whatever reason, then haters gonna hate.
Sigh...that felt good to get off my chest. Okay you two, have an adorable pony moment.
Peace and love bronies.

Once you get the hang of college, you'll find time to write, just give it time!

You're right S&L. I just need to be patient with myself, and the opportunities will come. Thank you for your encouragement!
