Why is this a thing and why do I find it strangely cute

Seriously this is apparently a thing! Why? I think it's the anime style. But style aside who honestly said "You know what? I think Loki and Elsa make a cute couple. Dunno why but they do."

Not gonna lie but some of the art is actually pretty good...
