DON'T BUY A NINTENDO SWITCH · 2:35am Mar 13th, 2017

I don't know how many Switches do this, but that was a lot of Switches in the video. I know you shouldn't believe everything you see or read on the internet, but by god this is fucking embarrassing.

I'm glad I'm getting the Wii-U version of Breath of the Wild, to be honest with you guys.

Also, I want to make mention that these issues will probably be fixed in the future. But as of right now this is the state of the Switch, which is a little disappointing to say the least.

Sweet hyperbolic Genji Riding Frederick's Horse across Camilla, Nintendo. How could you ship something with so many hardware issues day one? I know that hardware issues are something common in most systems at launch, but dear me this is awful. Really glad I decided to hold out on nabbing a Switch myself, (not that it was easy getting one, seeing as Nintendo made it pretty damn hard to buy one of the things on launch day.)

(Oh and by the way, I haven't written that A support yet, got distracted by a little something/something, and just decompressing after a stressful first half of the semester. But I'm all rested now, and I'm starting work on the A rank support tonight!)

4453688 hello joker btw i love persona five i'm watching it now and i knew the switch will fail

A pleasure, trying to avoid spoilers for Persona 5 myself. But honestly I'm a bit sad that the Switch is struggling, I SAW the warning signs, but I'm still frustrated Nintendo is making these mistakes again.

I've had my switch since day one. I haven't had a single problem with it. Screen isn't scratching from the dock, both my joycons connect fine with the system and I don't have any dead pixels or failures. I also haven't heard anything going wrong with my friends who got it either. I don't know if I just got lucky or if this problem is not as widespread as people are being led to believe. Personally I think it's a vocal minority getting defective products, but I very well could be wrong.

Just Nintendo being Nintendo, unfortunately. But what can you do? I don't plan to get a Switch until these kind of problems have sorted themselves out.

And take your time, man! But I'm looking forward to it.

I dunno man, that stuff seemed pretty convincing... Especially the flimsy dock and the Joy-con locking if you put the bands the wrong way. But maybe you just got a lucky one.

Nintendo have done it again!...woops sorry, wrong emphasis. Nintendo have done it again.

Sorry, I just had too.:rainbowlaugh:

and thanks!

4453712 you know part of me now is glad that I didn't have the money to get one yet hopefully by the time I do the list sorted out some of these problems

4453703 its japanese with a translator though

Agreed. Maybe an updated and sturdier model?

This is why you don't buy day one(even if i planned to:twilightsheepish:), and after a while, the price goes down. Prime example: PS4 was about 400-500 dollars at launch if memory serves, I bought mine, with Uncharted 4, for $270 brand new. To be honest though, you have to expect defective products, and in this day and age small issues with a few systems can get blown way out of proportion, so who knows. One thing I do know is I am 100% a Nintendo fanboy, and will stick with them til either me or the industry dies, whichever comes first. Probably me.:rainbowlaugh:

I had my Nintendo Switch on launch day and till now I had no problem.

I admits those joy-cons straps were a bit hard to remove at first (saw right away the + and - symbols), but do it three-four time each and then they'll go off more easily. Though I realized that the lock is open when down and some people showing how to use them correctly or their issue with it were pushing the lock back on and that's why they seem hard to slide off. That is a flawed design, I admit it.

I do feel sorry for those who had issue and had to have a bad first impression, but I personally think it is an amazing system. I do not agree with some of Nintendo's handling with those issues, especially those dead pixels. If it is normal that some dies on a LCD screen, this should happen long after you've been using it and not right off the bat, so they should replace those has well.

Well, I got my Switch on launch and didn't have any issues so far. Don't forget that the number of issues in this video is maybe only 1% of all sold consoles, which would still mean that 99% work fine. The people with problems are just usually the ones, who shout the loudest. (I mean, why should anyone shout "My console works perfectly fine!") Still, I hope Nintendo will be able to solve as many issues as possible.

Alright, alright, I admit, that I too managed to get the wristbands stuck by using the wrong side, but they get off again if you use a bit of force.
