Update on "Shadows and Watchers" · 5:19pm Feb 24th, 2017
The next chapter update for the story Shadows and Watchers will likely take awhile. It's been well over a month, but in all honesty, my interest in the story has been wanting for a little while now. I need to take a break for a little bit, recompose my thoughts and ideas on the story, and come back to it when the time is right.
It will not, however, be marked as "on hiatus." It seems to be a common theme on this site that stories put on hiatus are never truly finished - this is not the case with Shadows and Watchers. I intend to see it through. I just need a small break.
In the meantime, I'll be working on a couple new long stories, and quite a few one-shots. I've got a lot of ideas in mind, and they need to be worked on and eventually put out.
What I've been working on lately...
"A Query for the Dream" - re-adaptation of "A Measure of History."
"Sand Through the Hourglass" - my eventual magnum opus, of sorts.
"Lilac and Strawberries" - Second Person, anon-central fluff one-shot.
"The Glass Horn" - Gloomy, alternate universe slice of life one-shot.
Until next time
- Dagger of Winter
Eh, take your time. Writing too fast can result in bad chapters, so thats one of the reasons I don't update on a schedule.
That being said, I can't wait for the next.
