Back in the States, hooray! · 5:34am Sep 28th, 2012
Huzzah, back in the States and at my new place of residence. That's the good news!
The other good news is that Sonata du Octave (the comic version of an earlier concept of mine featuring supervillain Octavia and superhero Vinyl Scratch) is ticking along nicely. It's about to go into its second issue of three planned... and in addition I'm working with a different artist to do a DIFFERENT comic I've been scripting (a bit more lighthearted than Sonata)-- a rousing tale of Lyra's early days as a superhero known as Hand of Justice (...no, I actually don't have her obsessed with humans in that. No, really).
The not-so-good news is that I'm starting work NOW (today in fact... well, 'yesterday' now) and boy howdy am I going to be busy. Then again, I did knock out some of my better stuff while otherwise very busy at work, so we'll see how that goes.
Good luck to me, and may there be more finished chapters in my immediate future.
Good luck indeed.
How did I not know you did comics?
Well, there goes the rest of my weekend.

Haha. Well I didn't exactly advertise it. And only one issue up so far so it shouldn't take your entire weekend...

Trying to convince people to draw my stuff as comics
Welcome home, Fernin! My writing has missed your ever-eager reading eyes. Should join the IRC sometime.
How is it I always miss posts made by people I actually try to maintain some communication with so much?! Anyway, I'm glad you're finally in the states again.
