I lied. Kind of. · 3:26am Feb 24th, 2017
So, just a few (4-6) chapters left of SFaCF (unless I'm lying again and the usual thing happens), but I find myself slightly drawn toward that Sirens of CHS sequel, which I'll be calling Cross Reference. The first chapter isn't anywhere near ready, but it's started, and I'm too excited about an idea that hit me five minutes ago to not say anything. The idea involves a chapter inspired by this picture, if you can imagine Sonata cut out of it.
The very last line in SoCHS makes it clear that freshmen wouldn't be able to join the cheerleading squad under Adagio, but there's nothing to say they couldn't get bored, follow her around when she's similarly unengaged in the hope that she might change her mind, and get into shenanigans together, is there...? 
It sounded cute, so I think I'll do it, even if it takes a couple chapters to get there. 
No idea when that'll start publishing, as I've hit a busy period again, but it's in the pipes! Or the woodwork. Or wherever plotbunnies sit around drinking tea and wearing tiny sunglasses.

There'll be a little bit of everyone in this thing as it goes through its vaguely-connected slice-of-life chapters from the perspectives of different characters; sirens, Rainbooms, Shadowbolts, Cinch, the principals, Sci-Twi, Trixie and Maud, Diamond and Silver, probably Flash Sentry, and some others I haven't thought much about yet. But yes, this is the idea that made me want to belch blog posts at people.

Oh my God, the idea of the CMC trying to turn the Sirens into role models is adorable.
I find that they usually find drawers very comfortable, just don't let them anywhere near chocolate, did that once, NOT my smartest move.
