I said shut up, and that's only for my stories. There are no confirmed ponies on this sight, so I assume we are all human. Now go sit in the corner as I do my thing.
Fine.... Ass.
So anyway! Was up everyone? It's me, the 'Rising Saiyan' again! And I was recently inspired to create a quick blob over my star child, Second Son's Time to Shine! and where it's exactly going from here on. Normally I wouldn't do something like this, but I thought, 'What the hell?' Wasn't like I do enough around the sight as it is.
And since I wouldn't be getting the next chapter out soon, I'm instead going to tell you guys my future plans for this story as a whole. Where I want to go with it, and where I want it to eventually stop. What I hope to do to both the MLPverse AND DBZverse as a whole. I don't just want Goten to change the events of the My Little Pony world, but to do so in his own. After his adventures in Equestria, I'll consider making a sequal one-shot going a few years into the future and detailing exactly what all is happening.
[WARNING! SMALL RANT/ME TAKING MY MIND! SKIP AHEAD IF YOU ONLY WANT TO HEAR ABOUT GOTEN'S STORY!]
Now, some of you may not know what I try to do as a Fan Fiction author. When I make a story, I want to make a pretty damn awesome story. But that's not all, I want to inspire others to things that they normally wouldn't do. I want to try and convince people to take a different approch on things. Like if you want to do a crossover with Goku and MLP? SCREW GOKU! Put someone we HAVEN'T seen go to Equestria a million times before. Goten in my story was originally going to be Teen Gohan. But I decided on Goten. since he was never done before.
I made a Blue Exorcist crossover because it just wasn't done before, and I was a little bit pissed at that. The One-Shot was made to hopefully get the idea in people's heads. To make them think, 'What WOULD someone like Rin do?'
We are Fan Fiction writers with different inspirations, I get that. I'm actually about to post something that also hasn't been done to my knowledge. A crossover that is done so much that there are actually many different groups out there that are dedicated to it! Yet mine puts in a well known, yet different person into Equestria. Someone we should all know well, yet is completely different from the regular we have put in place.
You'll have to read it to understand what I'm talking about. Back to the main subject!
This story was no different. It was made with the intent to hopefully inspire someone to do something similar, yet different. If Goten can go to Equestria, why not Kid Trunks? Or Gotenks!? Hell, why don't we get Gogeta's SSJ 4 non-canon ass out here! Huh?! Actually, why not bring the Mane six to their world! Have them do some 'BS' in the name of good story telling!
But I digress, this blog was made for Goten and his solo story. Not my ranting over this small problem I have with almost every Fan Fiction sight.
[OKAY! IF YOU SKIPPED AHEAD, IT'S OKAY TO READ!]
So without further a do, Goten and his Time to Shine!
Now, Goten is without a doubt my favorite DB character in the series so far. The kid is Goku, but not Goku! He acts similar to his father, yet you can tell he's his own character! I just love his child like innocents, and the fact he already outclasses many of the human fighters! The only prblem I have with Goten, is his lack of a proper drive.
Unlike Goku and his Brother Gohan, Goten has no specific goal for the future. He doesn't want to get stronger and stronger like his dad, nor does he want to be a scholar like his brother. He just sorta does whatever. That's one thing I hope to change in this story. If you've read it, then you should already know exactly what I want for Goten and his goal. Well, his short term goal. I'm trying to set Goten up with a future goal in mind! What will that goal be? Well, I don't know yet. I'm going to let the story evolve a bit more, and then decided.
As for future chapters, we have at least two more in my little, 'Equestria Arc.' Which I have dubbed, for the fact that I had NO idea what else to call it.
Next, it's going to be Goten going through the story line with small changes here and there to keep things interesting. Him making friends and maybe a little drama in there. Well, not actual drama. Just what you would expect for a kid Goten's age.
This will sorta continue until Discord shows. And boy-oh-boy do I have a plan! Around that part, I'm going to update a bit faster than normal! Why? Because I have been thinking about it for so long now, that I practicly have the whole 'Devastating Chaos Arc' planned out!
After that, I'm not so sure. Maybe a little more with Goten being Goten until I decided upon the next arc, and what it will be like. It won't be apart of MLP canon, that's for sure. It'll be a Goten arc, revolving around the child Super Saiyan and whatever I think will be better for him to do.

I haven't read everything yet but
that was already pretty good.
While I would love to see some sort of little kids romance happening between the action or a silly crush till the sequel, I.....don't have anything to complain about since Goten is a boy and in Ponyville are at least more Mares then Stallions.
I wanted to say that I have not many colts that I really like or the way they are displayed in several stories or the show. I like Button but I hate the usuall Button Sweetie shipping. I can see why some would like that but I guess they are to similar with their personality for me or something like that. I mean I hate the Sunburst x Starlight shipping to, because I don't like to see them shipped just because Sunburst was Starlights first friend like in all the games like FInal Fantasy where the character is always into the girl he had seen first, at least the first playable.
I got used to the Discord x Shy shipping but I disliked it for the same reason. Sorry I really meant what I started to say but it turned out in me ranting a bit about it if you can call it that, I don't know anyone in reallife that is watching the show to or even reading so I can't talk there about it.
I mean even if I only try to describe a situation and want their opnion on it, they act so stupid like they couldn't think what they would do in situation a or if they would like option a, b, c....

4437022 Oh thank God! I'm not the only one that goes from a random topic into a full on rant! And also, I actually agree with you on the whole 'Shipping cause they were friends first' thing. Sometimes it works, other times it feels forced. Much like this whole Discord X Shy thing. It feels a bit forced to me.
As for romance in the story, it will most likely be a silly crush. Mainly because Goten WILL have ti go back to his world at some point.
4437038 Well while I hate a farewell forever I had read that you plan a sequel and that would mean there is a chance that either someone loves him enough to leave with him the second time he appears there or something like that right? I mean if you like the idea enough and maybe want to let a background character or OC, someone that isn't used that much have a crush on him.
Not sure what timeline you use, but I'm totally interessted in Mrs. Harshwinney at the moment. I like how she slowly fell in love with two or three Humans and that they noticed that her being mad had some sort of reason if you know how I mean it.
Uh huh. Yeah I see what you mean. But if Goten does actually 'fall in love' than it'll be with one of the fillies in Ponyvile. Like the crusaders, or other that go to the school. And even then, I'll probably keep it as a small crush. This story focus is on the, well, story and adventure first and for most.
Romance will show every now and then, but won't be shown as often as people that like romance would like. Also, they are within the range of 10-12. I don't think they'er looking for relationships juuuust yet.
