I write pony words that people seem to like. I also review fics and draw purty pictures, apperently. I'm an older fan of MLP, so expect a lot of 80's references.

But while I got you here, I'm gonna throw up some SFW art I've done recently.
I woke up with a fully formed idea for a new chapter in my silly anthology of scenes where Sunset Shimmer is haunted by pony!Pinkie lodged DEEPLY in my mind and I think I'm going to write it. I'm in a writerly mood. Apparently.
This flew under my radar yesterday, so I just woke up to find it and it is just as sweet as all that discounted candy! Give it a listen and pop over to Lostus's page and drop a like or a comment or something. This is top tier work!
I posted a little section of this last blog, but I think I'm happy where this is at right now. Obviously this takes place in the midst of a larger narrative, so there might be some/a lot of context that's lost here, but the gist is a couple of priests and a warlock form up an adventuring party and before they even have their first outing, some shit goes down at the tavern.

It's eaten up a lot of my time this past week or so, but I'm now ahead of the game (baDUMtish!) so I'm gonna get caught back up on my pone words. Sorry I've been so quiet this month. I really do want to get a few more things out before the second quarter starts.

Good ol' 3.5, fam. I offered the option of 2nd-5th editions. Nobody wanted 4th, 2nd was too far back in the stack and obtuse AF to the new folks. 3.5 was were we all landed as most comfortable. Which is good for me, let's me get my math on.

If you every want to try it out, I'd suggest looking for a local group that plays live. It's meant to be played on a literal table top and it's as fast paced as you want it to be. That said, there are a few options online worth looking into. Check out www.roll20.net or the Wizards of the Coast forums for peeps looking for new players.

D&D has been my crack for like the last year or two.
Top tip: mixing D&D with a drinking game can be a deadly combination if the dice hate you. I learned this to my own peril.
EDIT: If you haven't tried out 5th edition yet, you really should – especially if you're playing with any new players. 3.5/Pathfinder can be hilarious and the sheer variety of character options is great but it's hella unbalanced. My friend has a completely rules-legal Juju Oracle that completely crushes every encounter singlehandedly unless the enemy is entirely made of paladins and clerics to positive energy the shit out of his zombie giant frost wurm and shit.

Used to play irl for many years with 2nd, then 3rd, 3.5, Pathfinder and 4th. By the time 5th came out I'd moved away from my old gaming group, so I moved to online play.
