So, heard this from my nephew, so I did some research.
Season 7 Major News Revealed - Rainbow Dash and Applejack's Parents names revealed
Rainbow Dash - Parent names are Windy Whistles and Bow Hot Hoof!
Applejack - Parent names are Bright Mac and Pear Butter, with Old Grand Pear.
Now... I uh... as a Rainbow Dash fanboy... I have some concerns.

Really? Really? I... I honestly expected her parents to be Rainbow Blaze and Rainbowshine, and if not her then Firefly at least, it'd be a cool reason to bring back an old favorite from the earlier Generations of MLP. But instead, their names are Windy Whistles and Bow Hot Hoof...
I'm gonna be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about these names. Like, I had my own headcanon that Rainbow Dash's parents were Rainbow Blaze and Firefly... because honestly it just feels right to me. And now my headcanon has been battered by this news 
Honestly, depending on how they handle her parents, I'm probably just gonna stay to my headcanon. because right now, Hasbro has kinda... flubberdicked my opinions of Fluttershy's parents and family so...
And AJ's parents... where in the sweet apple fucks were they at for six whole seasons? They missed so much shit that their kids have gone through. Apple Bloom's Cutie Mark, almost losing the farm like... what, three or four times? And their kids getting into some hecka bad situations where they could have died. Or when they needed their parents the most through trying times.
Seriously? Bad parents... bad. :alsleepy:
But enough about that news.
I saw on EQDaily that We're getting an 8th season in 2018! Well ain't that a titty tickler? 
We haven't even see anything for this new season and there's already an 8th planned out? I like it! I do like it... but depending on how this season goes, I may or may not be happy.
Season Six, while it had its good moments, it was quite dull to be honest. I didn't hate it, 28 Pranks Later and Zephyr can go die in a plane fire 
but eh. I'm hoping they'll handle this season better, make it more exciting and not a complete clusterfuck that'll just make me use my own headcanons when I write. Such as Rainbow's parents for example being Firefly and Rainbow Blaze.
Regardless... I'm still looking forward to this new season! I'm hopeful good things will come out of it.
I am also hopeful Rainbow's mom is a milf, because if that is the case... then dibs ahoy boy.

I heard that Faust in her vision that Applejack's parent, it makes since to me they are gone for so long.
Hasbro needs to have a damn good reason for giving them stupid names. I'm not saying that the community is right, but...
