So, with Dragon Ball Super: Equestrian Chronicles finally reaching the true start of the Starlight Glimmer Saga, I thought it'd be fun to discuss some characters I can't wait to get to writing in the DBZ lore to cross over.

    Spoilers ahead.

Saga List (Update as Series goes on)

Hey everyone. I hope you're enjoying Dragon Ball Super: Equestrian Chronicles! It's gonna be a fun ride.

The story is going to be divided into Sagas, like the actual Dragon Ball. Here's a list of what I feel should be revealed right now and I'll update as the story progresses. It's a work in progress list even with the question marks.

Friendship Games Saga Idea · 6:34am Feb 19th, 2017

So, earlier I was thinking about how I could adapt the Frienship Games movie into the story. But since Starlight Glimmer reappeared the same time as the movie, I wanted another character to take the spotlight.

Goku and Vegeta aren't gonna be in Equestria Girls just yet. The character I have in mind will be from the present, but the magic of the Mirror will change his form while in the other world. And with how people aren't liking how he is in Dragon Ball Super, I hope this is a step in the right direction.

Here's what I have in mind:

So, a teenaged Gohan will be drawn into the mess created by EQG Twilight whilst his Dad and Vegeta are fighting a crazed unicorn across multiple alternate timelines?

Sounds good to me. I'll bring the popcorn. :pinkiehappy:

So is this a time/space displaced Gohan or taking place sometime early on in during the seven time skip inbetween the Cell and Buu Sagas?

Also it bothers me that others keep downplaying Gohan just because he is not as battle hungry warriors like Goku or Vegeta. Claiming that he should never stopped training and always fight. They miss something the entire point of his character. He has always was a pacifist at heart and mostly was forced into into fighting through fear, guilt, anger or being indebted to others. So of course he would enjoy the peaceful life more and treasure being there for his family. It also gave him time to find his own place in the world without being enforced by others. By being his own man.

4429676 It's adult Gohan turned into a teenager thanks to a mirror. He's only gonna look like that in the Equestria Girls world.

And about Gohan's character. Yes, I know he's not a born fighter and I'm glad he can settle down with a family. But with a life like his and the planet constantly in danger, imo he should be at least a little prepared.

Like, I'm not saying he should abandon the life he has, I like that he's an honest working man with a family to care for, it shows development. This arc will just bring him back to a role as a protector on par with the others.

4429987 Oh okay. Though you know that is teen Gohan you have you is eleven at that point. If you want the actual teenager Gohan, then you will want the one in his Orange Star High School uniform. Do not be fooled by what others calling that "adult Gohan" when in reality he is barely there yet in age and mentally. He just looks it due his genetics Unless you want him as an real early freshman or something. Though you should have him still retain his power regardless age regression or not.

Also I was mostly talking about how others view the character as. Not you personally. It just bothers me that are so stuck on his past bad ass moments and fixated on his minor fluebs that they believe he is near iredeemable. When in reality his past incarnations made grave mistakes too mostly due to his immaturity and lack of experience.

The thing with Gohan in Dragonball Super is now that he is living on his own with Videl and Pan, he is his own man. As adult he to now find a balance in his life between family, career, and as a martial artist. This what he was struggling with until episodes 73 & 74 where he seems to find his motivation. The following episode 75 shows this as he now takes pride in what he has yet now able to be more responsible about it. They also show he has indeed been training as he able keep up with his father no problem.

That is another reason he joined the recent Tournament if Power in Super too. The inky thing left is for him to regain his joy for battle again with his recent maturity taken into account. So that way we do have another incident of SS2 Teen Gohan getting carried away or Ultimate Gohan cockiness blinding him.
