Gardens of Equestria: This Coming Storm - Prologue: The Watcher is now LIVE · 8:04pm February 17th

The Watcher is the prologue for Gardens of Equestria: This Coming Storm, and the first in a series of episodes in a DLC-length mod for Fallout: New Vegas. It introduces players to Gardens of Equestria, an episodic adventure that shuffles the reality of New Vegas like a pack of cards. GoE introduces new enemies, allies, and unique equipment from beyond the Mojave. As you investigate the cause of these echoes, you will choose a side and decide the fate of two worlds.

However, it’s not just the start of a world-spanning adventure. Changes have swept through the New Pegasus area, altering everything from billboards to ancient Pre-War posters, stimpaks to road signs, teddy bears to the Las Pegasus sign itself. There’s also a new PipBuck radio station featuring 32 of the greatest hits from the MLP:FiM fandom. The reality distortions have even affected your PipBuck’s user interface, complete with new loading screens, a new progress wheel and altered game Perks. Custom cinematics, a fully-voiced cast, unique new ambient music and much, much more await you within.

Gardens of Equestria: This Coming Storm requires Fallout: New Vegas and the Old World Blues DLC.

Prices and participation may vary. See store for details. If your download lasts for more than six hours, contact the Ministry of Peace immediately. This simulation has been approved by the Ministry of Morale, and verified by the Ministry of Arcane Sciences to run on most StableTec(TM) terminals.

I would get this, but sadly I don´t have a good laptop for it. Are you also gonna release it on Bethesda.net?

4426310 When we get around to launching GoE 2 for Fallout 4, we definitely will, but at present, they don't have a platform for Fallout: New Vegas (at least not one that I can find). If that changes, we'll get it right up there!

And I'm surprised you can't run Fallout: New Vegas! These are the minimum specs:

OS: Windows 7/Vista/XP (Yes, it works with 8 and 10)
CPU: dual core 2.0 GHz
Memory: 2GB RAM
10GB free disk space
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce 6 series, ATI 1300XT series

4426348 I mean is, since my old laptop broke down, I´m stuck with an Acer Chromebook.

4426354 Ouch. :twilightoops: Well don't worry. It's not going anywhere! It'll be there when you're ready.

4426356 True. Is there any voice-acting?

Audio Director for the mod here. I'm happy to inform you the whole mod is fully voice-acted.

4426370 This is gonna be glorious

Okay so... how does this work? is it like other DLC's where you should be partway into the game and then go do stuff, or this more full, altering everything from the start, setting up for the story type deal?

An excellent question. Much like the other DLCs, you will be guided to a location that kicks it all off. More than that would be spoilers.

4426499 I imagine that was less of a question of what the mod was about and more of what you'd actually do to use it (new game vs old save).

4426605; 4426432

While you could use GoE with a pre-existing save, stacking mods always carries a risk (no matter the mod). GoE is designed to be playable from Level 1 to Level 50, but the optimal experience would be to start a new game.

4426608 Sweet exactly what I wanted to hear... been a while since I booted up NV so was hoping to be able to just start over and get right to it.

Checked it out and... yup this is awesome, so can't wait to see where this is going.
