Top 10 Favorite Episodes of Regular Show · 3:30pm Feb 17th, 2017

I think it's time to wrap things up and say which are the episodes I watch and re-watch the best. One of my favorite shows deserves a good way to be recognized.

Before we start, let me say that this list is not a best episodes list (because that would be the most stupid list in history), so every episode will be ranked depending on how much I like them. Also, I won't include the series finale nor the movie.

Now, without further ado, let's begin!

10. A Bunch of Full Grown Geese

A combination of cute and cool (in the form of the ducklings) is what functions in this episode. A great homage to mechas such as Gundam and Mazinger Z, and if we add Stan Bush’s The Touch into the mix, then everything is complete.

9. This Is My Jam

This episode is basically a deeper explanation of the bubble gum song from Inside Out, but better since now we have a dancing tape chasing our main characters all over the park, and to defeat it they had to create a more repetitive song. Watching Rigby’s faces is priceless.

8. Weekend at Benson's

Watching some of Benson’s life outside the park is interesting to say the least, even if it’s not that big of a deal. But that acid trip at the end gives this episode a whole new perspective, equivalent to the Pink Elephants from Dumbo. Mississippi Queen is one of the finest moments in the show. BTW, I want that shirt.

7. Skips' Story

Although we had clues of Skips’ backstory here and there (and in Diary they gave us a little hint), this is where everything connects to our favorite yeti. One can’t help but shed a tear after watching this tragic, modern fairy tale.

6. Steak Me Amadeus

This is the pinnacle of Mordecai and Margaret’s relationship. Their best episode together, where the final answers really matter. The homage to The X-Files and the tons of action sequences complement this episode to the best and in the end, one feels sorry for our favorite blue bird.

5. Mordecai and the Rigbys

A simple premise done well, even the appearances of the future Mordecai and Rigby can be stunning. And, of course, how could anyone can forget that catchy song? Party Tonight brought something new to the table and made everyone discovered a whole new world.

4. Terror Tales of the Park saga

Modern Treehouse of Horror, mixing both comedy and horror into the episodes and having a good balance between them. All the chapters from this saga share the same spot and are modern time classics.

3. Yes Dude Yes

I was never bothered of who would be the chosen one for Mordecai, I liked both Margaret and CJ (even if the finale confirmed the whole dilemma was a waste of time, although I understand why they did it), and watching a depressed Mordecai is funny and sad at the same time. But what puts this episode very high on the list is Benson’s advice, because it came at the right time in my real life. I learnt a lot from it... and I'm thankful for it.

2. Exit 9B

This episode brings together all the characters (including the rogue gallery) into an epic battle. Even if we have Mr. Filler in here (Thomas), this episode, actually, could work as a good finale in a cool and creative story. One of the best of the series and an obligatory view.

1. The Best VHS in the World

The comedy works, the setting works, Buttonwillow Mc Buttonwillow is funny (and is not coincidence since he’s a parody of Gollum, one of my favorite characters of all time). Heck, even to its credit, the VHS actually look really good. I burst into laughter every time I watch this episode.

Honorable Mentions: House Rules, Rap It Up, Skips vs. Technology, Sandwich of Death, Ace Balthazar Lives, Butt Dial, Diary, Format Wars saga, A Regular Epic Final Battle.

So, now tell me. Which are your favorite episodes? Leave them in the comments.
