me checking the dislike ratio on my new story

Glad to know bigotry is still alive and well in this fandom.

It's glad to see some of us didn't watch the same series as I did.

    So where I've been

Okay, uh... how do I begin this? Well, I suppose I should start with the obvious. Yes, I've been distracted. If you follow me on Archive that should be obvious. And if you don't, you totally should btw. Yes, I'm shameless.

Coming next year... (Return of Doctor Whooves universe related news, VERY IMPORTANT) · 8:40pm Feb 15th, 2017

Okay, today I made a very difficult, and rather heartbreaking choice. That is, delete my very first story Once a Time Lord, Now a Pony. Why? It had some good ideas, but they weren't executed properly and the Tenth Doctor didn't at times seem like himself, and everything was far too rushed for my tastes as several people pointed out. But don't cry, as coming next year will be a rewrite. And here's the description, title and Cover Art:

Once a Time Lord... Well, actually still that, but now a Pony as well...

The Last of the Time Lords. The Oncoming Storm. The Predator, those very names ring fear throughout the cosmos, and for good reason. Good men don't need rules, and there's a very good reason the Doctor has so many. Just coming off from a Voyage of the Damned, the Doctor finds himself in one very new situation that he can safely say in all of his 900 years of living, he has never experienced before. Crash landing (Well, that isn't new at all.) in a land of talking ponies. And now he's one. Well, guess there's only one thing to do. Pretend he knows what he's doing and just do what he's been doing all his life. Run. Do a lot of running. And who knows, maybe he'll find a friend, and possibly more in the local Princess. One thing to say to that, really. Allons-Y!

Yeah, that story needed a swift firm rewrite. And a year from now, it'll get that. So for right now, the only things you'll see from Once A Time Lord are small flashbacks to it's events, which once rewritten will be changed to reflect the updated dialogue. (Heck, already, the major flashback chapters with events pertaining to Once a Time Lord have been deleted already.) Anyways, the new rewrite, well reboot would be a more accurate term, will feature quite a bit of emphasis on the Twilight-Doctor relationship, and why exactly he cares for her so much, and just how badly the events of the next chapter of the Return of Doctor Whooves will affect him and Twilight. Amongst other things, Boltstrike will have more sympathetic elements added in, and not just made a completely insane pony, and it'll be shown what lengths exactly drove him to get a Dalek to end the Griffin-Pony war, which'll be shown in more detail as well. Plus, we'll get more build-up to the TwiDash relationship as well, which at times seemed to come completely out of nowhere in Frightmare Night.

Anyways, more news related to this universe. I have at least one side story planned that takes place alongside the next story arc for the Return of Doctor Whooves, and it revolves around that Lovestruck/Lucky Clover story I mentioned earlier and will revolve around this universe's version of Grape Vine getting Princess Cadance involved to finally get those two together... Mind you, it won't be easy, as Lovestruck is oblivious as all Hell to Lucky's feelings for her, and Grape... Well, he's Grape Vine so you can imagine how this'll end.

I do have one other side story planned, with the Doctor teaming up with a local detective to solve a Sherlock Holmes worthy mystery and the two constantly trying to outdo one another to prove who's the more intelligent. Mind you, I'll have to get permission from a specific author to use his OC, and actually know how to write good mysteries plus get a custom cover art designed for it so this one may never come to light.

Anyways, ta-ta for now. Comments, questions and opinions are appreciated.
