No matter how much i watch this show i love every single character on the show ranging from twilight to starlight glimmer. I have about five favorite characters i love the most, and one of them is the Element of Honesty herself AppleJack, the younger sister to Big Mac, and older sister to Apple Bloom.
I really like her character, she's extremely complex and well written she's more of the motherly type of the mane six. Stubborn, honest, caring, and mature, and not to mention competitive, oh is she competitive, her and rainbow dash challenge each other every chance she gets and every time she wants to win, and i gotta say it makes me laugh every time those two hard headed ponies butt heads.
Her relationship was other ponies even Rainbow Dash is mother-like, maybe the face that she's raised on an Apple farm and raising Apple Bloom (Which by far my second favorite cutie mark crusader next to scootaloo)
But when Twilight is not around to give some wisdom, advice...or a schedule crazed rampage (hint, hint, Season 2) She sometimes acts either the voice of reason and...well the mother, she scolds other ponies when they act up especially with her possible and hopefully cousin Pinkie pie, the crazed but extremely lovable party pony.
