Tiny Excerpt 2-fer! (My Little Dynamite & Crackshipping) · 2:01pm Feb 8th, 2017
So, I was looking at my monthly goals for getting stuff posted and there are two things coming up pretttyyy soon...My Little Dynamite: Book 2's eleventh chapter, and the next Crackshipping & You entry: Emberarity. Right now, the planned publishing dates for these are on the 14th for Crackshipping, and then the 15th for MLD:B2. MLD needs the most work to be completed, but I feel confident that I can hit, or at least hit pretty close to those projected dates.
Before I head to work though, here's a couple of quick excerpts.
My Little Dynamite
Did Twilight shift? Did Spike start snoring? Cadance searched her vague memories of her broken dreamscape, looking for what have triggered her waking. Nothing came through the haze to stick out as the culprit, and though Cadance trusted her senses, she hoped there was nothing to be concerned about. They needed the rest that the abandoned village at the gate provided them. She knew Twilight was still recovering from the changeling attack from last week, and the trek through the the tundra was rough on them all. That alone had nearly spelled the end for the kindly old sage, Zecora.
Wait...where is Zecora?
and Crackshipping & You: Emberarity
“Do you need one of our useful event schedules? We have hooficures with our trained spa ponies at—”
“No thank you, darling!” Rarity pulled out the dogeared trifold that had been her sole companion for weeks now. “I have the brochure! Please, get these...er...the rest of your guests to their own lovely bungalows. I have it in hoof from here, I assure you.”
Rarity turned quickly without looking back, her luggage rolling along behind her like a faithful pet as she trotted the short distance to the little building that was set back a little into the ever present tropical flora. The tour group continued on without her, barely skipping a beat, the guide’s chipper tone muffled by the ferns and palms. Once she was inside, Rarity slammed the door closed, turned the latch lock and wedged her suitcase against it for extra privacy.
Now that she was finally out from under the prying eyes of the resort staff, her true vacation could begin.
