New art (commissioned by me), dialogue help requested

So, the ever awesome Moth (mochi_nation on Twitter and Mstdn.social) drew this commission for me of me server her Highness at my store.

Problem for me is that I have no idea what they should be talking about, so y'all got any ideas?

A New Generation of ponies (possible mild spoilers)

So, the time has come, G5/A New Generation the movie has dropped. Not bad, though I do agree with Dr Wolf that it seemed rushed at times, likely as he said a side effect of it being under two hours. Before I'd seen it, based on rumors and clips leaked on YouTube I would've described as 'a group of ponies go searching for the magical MacGuffin only to find out what's really important'. Seriously,

    Punting Google

And hopefully some or all of the authors I work with will be willing to follow me. The whole story is over here but the short version is Google is being really blatant about how much they track you, and it's making me a bit uncomfortable. Yes, I'll still keep using their services as long as authors I work with use it, but I rather hope

Can we get some better Cadance stories? · 3:56pm Feb 5th, 2017

Seriously, if you stop and think about it, she's a Princess that can have some seriously interesting stories, not only later in her life where at least one of the angles is obvious, but also early in her life.

The obvious one is how the Princess of Love will handle the passing of her husband as she's immortal, and he isn't. At least if you believe the ascended Princesses are, though according to Penalt the official word is that Twilight isn't, so its iffy if she is.

Still, that's an obvious direction to go if you believe she's immortal, but here's something else to think about, is Flurry Heart immortal? It sounds like a stupid question, she's an alicorn, so of course, right? But the only proof we have is that she has wings, a horn and above average magic, for all we know, she could just be a winged unicorn. Seriously, consider how powerful a unicorn her father is, he shielded all of Canterlot, and his sister is Twilight Sparkle, even if he didn't study pure magics, you have to imagine he's got some serious power. And then there's mom, Cadance, an ascended Pegasus (canon via the tie in books released during the early season(s?)), so its not ridiculous. Plus even if she is an alicorn, is there a difference between a born alicorn and an ascended one? Celestia and Luna did after all say that she was the first. All of this comes together in a simple sentence, a mother should never out live her child.

Finally there's her early life. It seems to be commonly thought of as a mistake that she's shown as an alicorn when she's Twilight's foal sitter, but is it a mistake? Celestia certainly doesn't look 1000+ years old, does she? And pegasi in mind mind tend to have a youthful thin appearance, so she might be older than she appears.

Why's that important?
Do you believe in Celestia the chess master? The Princess who plans for what's coming, for Nightmare Moon, for large scale threats, for things like the re-appearance of the Crystal Empire? If you do, then it doesn't seem that ridiculous for an alicorn princess to be Twilight's foal sitter, after all, how best to watch and see that she's on the right path? Sure, Celestia can keep a close eye on her at school, but it'd look odd if she volunteered to foal sit her. But the newly minted Princess of Love, an alicorn with no current duties? Why not?

When you think of her role as foal sitter that way, you can see how it could make an interesting story, especially if she's not aware of what Princess Celestia is up to, only knowing that she suggested she take the job since Celestia thought they'd hit it off.
