IT BEGIIIINS
Hello again, everyone! You know, I was considering holding off on this until Sunday, but then I realized that you've all been waiting long enough. That's right, The World Within the Web is officially beginning again today, with the first chapter of Part III having been released just a moment ago! I certainly hope you enjoy it, but I have a few other things to talk about as well.
First of all, I'm very sorry for the long delay in releasing this. The hiatus was longer than you must have expected, and I hope I won't have to repeat this. I don't believe it would be fair for me to not elaborate on exactly why the break lasted as long as it did - this story relies in no small part on the support from readers like all of you, and I wouldn't take advantage of your trust. This isn't an excuse or a justification - just an explanation.
The main reason comes down to school, specifically law school. I've been attending since last Fall, which seriously cut into the time I had to write. The first semester was tough, seeing that it takes a lot of adjustment from pretty much anything you've been doing previously, and this second semester scarcely seems easier so far. As such, my usual writing schedule was thrown off to a severe degree, and I've been trying to adjust since. I think I might have rediscovered my "groove," so to speak, but it's still hard to find the time I need. The other major problem was just to do with the material I was writing. Part III deals with a lot of situations that were difficult to put on paper, though I'm extremely happy with how it turned out (you'll know it when you read it). That contributed to the already hard-pressed circumstances, meaning that I spent an inordinate amount of my limited time on one or two chapters, even though I finished others very quickly.
At any rate, I have completed enough chapters that I feel confident in starting on Part III now. They will be released on a staggered schedule going forward, though it will still be a regular one, meaning that you will all have more chapters to enjoy while I have valuable time to finish writing this beast. Personally, I feel very good about my chances.
I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoy writing it (though I certainly hope it isn't quite so difficult). As I've said before, Six and One!
YAY!!!!!!!
So "Difficult to put on paper" as in, hard to logistically map out and make clear in words alone what is going on, or, hard emotionally to create the scenes and write them out? Still... and now.... time to commence massive show you what happens when I'm up to date on a story like this that is SO FREAKING GOOD and gets me so invested commentary!
Wonderful!

Both, actually. I really think everyone will enjoy the next batch of chapters a lot: things are going to get pretty intense.
