Happy Pinkie Pride-iversary! · 6:26pm Feb 1st, 2017
What, no, it's not Rainbow Dash Day; as far as I'm concerned, her actual birthday is in the summer. You're all confused.
Anyway, to celebrate three years of shipping the glorious CheesePie, I'm going to go through a bunch ship art I've drawn for them. Because it's kind of fun to look back.
Ah, my first ever CheesePie ship art. It looks like utter crap.
This is my most popular art of anything ever. Never underestimate the power of ASDF movie.
I drew this for Pi Day. This was the point where it was official, I shipped it like a luxury liner.
Here's where I made my speculations on non-Rainboomed Pinkie's lack of effect on Cheese public, which eventually led to The Rock Farmer's Daughters. I will admit, it gets annoying when people assume that I was wondering about what'd happen to Pinkie without the Rainboom; really, my main concern was what'd happen to Cheese. Otherwise I wouldn't have written it, given that people already tackled the question of Pinkie before.
An otherwise disturbing ASDF gag made into a surprisingly sweet interaction. Though some people may go a different direction... *cough cough*
I need to draw more art of them with the twins... or any of their foals, really. These two with babies are too precious.
Because drawing dresses is fun (especially wedding dresses), and Cheese looks good in a suit.
This piece was inspired by this fic right here. Go, ye ponies... go and read it!
I don't buy into Cheese having a "Pinkamena State", but if he has to have a dark side like that, at least be more creative with it! I nominate Bristly Haired Angry Cheese (someone come up with a better name) to be his crazy evil side.
Tommy as a third wheel is hilarious to me; I keep wanting to draw third wheel memes but I'm just too lazy...
Holy cow, that was two years ago.
I drew this for the first Pinkie Pride-iversary.
And this one was drawn for Valentine's Day.
The best part about Hearts and Hooves Day is the candy. Now I crave chocolate.
It was Pinkie's birthday. Naturally, Cheese had to suddenly pop up on top of the cake.
This is how they entertain themselves when they're locked in a closet. Don't lie, you know they'd think of something innocent first.
I needed to draw an official CheesePie family photo, and it is glorious. I have to say, I'm quite proud of how the kids' designs turned out.
Foals from oldest to youngest: Pizza Pockets (16; older twin by five minutes), Fudge Fondue (16), Rocky Road (8), Berry Blast (3), Cheesecake Chase (>1).
If Shut Up and Dance popped into your head when seeing this, then congratulations, that was exactly what was playing in my head as I was drawing this!
These wedding photos and the ones that followed (depicting the food fight that Cheese and Tommy started) took a week to finish.
If this wasn't the best wedding and reception to go to, then I don't know what twisted reality they live in.
I still think that this ask was really weird. Still, turning Cheese into a werewolf is far better than giving him a "Pinkamena" state, and sarcastic grump Pinkamena is better than psycho Pinkamena.
You just know that Pinkie is going to be still collecting some candy for herself, no matter how old she is.
See, the Choosing Stone there knows what's up! If only Pinkie didn't throw the dang thing in her excitement...
This is still one of my best pictures to date. I'm still really happy that the kiss turned out so well.
However, I get the warm fuzzies from Cheesy and pregnant Pinkie cuddling.
Let's be honest; elderly couples are the sweetest thing. Just look at these happy grandparents.
My brother, his weird sense of humor, and a thing he did in high school was the inspiration for this one. I don't know how my bro does it.
Oh, hey, this one's new! As a matter of fact, I just uploaded it on DeviantArt and Tumblr today! This idea popped into my head a few days ago, and now I present my rough, scribbly mess coupled with my bad sense of humor.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this lookback. Have a nice day!
I love this because it's great seeing how much your art has improved as you scroll down the post.
