Ch 4 of "The Expansive Romance of Applebloom and Coral Leaf" is now up! · 6:49am Jan 25th, 2017
Well, thought I probably would have put this out earlier this evening, but found I had some touch-ups to make that needed to be made!
I think this chapter will really be a fun one for people to read. We're moving a bit beyond the character set-ups, and more into the 'meat' of the story.
I will admit that writing these chapters, has also helped me over on DeviantArt. For the last 2 years, I had a rather naughty conclusion to one character from the 2005 film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but after writing down about 9 chapters, didn't think I should put it out.
Well, as of the other day, I put out Chapter 1 of that story on DA. What was rather funny was me wondering if the first chapter being under 1,000 words was okay (after seeing almost all the major ones here for my story be at least 6,000 words!). But, that story is a different beast than 'Expansive Romance.' While my DA story does have some romance, it is more of piece told from a God's eye perspective, and doesn't quite get into the thick of the relationship like this story.
So far, I've got my roughs of Chapters 5 and 6, and am working on trying to crack Chapter 7. Chapters 6 and 7, ended up somewhat like Chapters 3 and 4, where what I thought would fit nicely into one chapter, was split off into two. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if we might push the story beyond the 10 chapters I originally conceived it to take.
Still, I do hope that I get some decent feedback. Much as I maligned on my DA account, I am a fan of well-written, well-thought-out comment posts, and much of the time, they give me the added boost of energy to keep pushing forward.
