I don't understand all of the senseless rioting and protests. The last worthy event was Martin Luther King and the past couple of years have soiled his image and memory. Now we have Americans boycotting the anthem, destroying property, targeting police and protesting the inauguration. When did our great nation become a third world country? I've spent the last 20+ years defending our country, mostly away from our shores and now I worry about returning. Unlike most countries around the world, we have the freedom to do most anything we want until it infringes on someone else's freedom. We fought for principles, fundamental rights and liberties. Why are we fighting ourselves? Did the last 8 years bring us to the brink of our "Roman Empire"? Have our decisions positioned us for our down fall. Now our society decided to use the very rights that set us apart from other nations to set us back. Let's stop acting like spoiled brats, look at the opportunities available to us and take a PROACTIVE and PRODUCTIVE method to change. Violence, disrespect and mayhem only make things worse. This is only one man's opinion. I couldn't stand by and see one more news clip, smartass remark or thoughtless post. Let's not be a part of the problem and choose to make the correct solution. I'm probably setting myself up for trouble but I had to make a stand.
I just went on Facebook to see that he posted about the current events that's been happening... I really wish there where more Americans like him... I still miss him so...

I was born and raised in the 80's I look at all this stuff that is going on right now. I consider myself a far left lib as well. But one that dosen't blindly follow everything the left or the right saids I have had alot of talk with the young kids of today..I told them get a job work stop making a big deal out of nothing.

*hugs* As much as I agree with him, I hate to point out the painfully obvious in this situation. America has never been great, it has never been perfect, it has only been simply getting by while doing the best it could. This is even more present now that we have to things to point out.
First, for the last 8 years the government has been blocking the president from getting any real work done. Second, now that the government got what they wanted out of a leader, they are quickly regretting it because all he does is point fingers while yelling lies. Third, we chose to become a third world country from the people we allow to be elected into congress. I'm not going to continue on this and stay serious, so I'll turn it over to a comedian who can make this sound funny.

4392829 Failure to speak allows others to speak for you, speaking for others makes them just like yourself. And I'm not trying to be clever or deep, that's actually true. As a kid I used to keep quite and my brothers spoke for me most of the time, and they were terrible at it as well.
Now I shoot them down faster than they can raise a finger. Also I forgot one last video.
