With my quest/race to get a Rainbow S on all of Freedom Planet 2's stages, my creativity lit up like a bonfire again, and I started crafting an alternate ending of sorts for the past week.
That story is now complete, and posted in its entirety over on AO3.

This week, Misty forces her friends to play a D&D campaign with a DM who sounds like she's bored out of her mind.
Pretty decent this week.
...where I really wish it wasn't 3 AM.
Have to save the last one for tomorrow after work, then it's time to 100% Freedom Planet 2, something I really didn't think I'd pull off.
Four years later, and this is still the best kart racer on Steam.
Also, not sure if Tails' Genesis Mod is a bit OP, or if the Ring Races are just a tad on the easy side, compared to everything else.
