Hello, this is a friendly public reminder from a very much alive person that air is still in my lungs and fire is still in my heart. I should probably get that looked at.

So, Hong Kong has been a whirl wind of crazy events. Life has gotten a lot more hectic for me, my job is getting more demanding, I'm in the middle of switching medications which is just awful, and I have less time to read and do other things, but I am still hard at work putting together a bunch of things for Joker's Wild. I actually wrote NEW material for chapter 5, which is something I haven't done in months! We are starting to get towards the end of chapter 4. I am currently editing the next section, and my editor says that the later half of this one is really really good, but the beginning third of it is a bit of an exposition slog. Y'all should know, Big boy Shenanigans over here ain't lookin' for any weak ass presentation cause homie don't play like that. I've been looking for the chance to actually dedicate a solid afternoon to reworking that scene to have better pacing, and I hope it turns out well.

Hopefully I can get the section out soon. Maybe I'll find some time to write some non-FOE stuff too, but who knows.
