Review #45 - Sillen, Supermoon, What's Wrong With the Cutie Map? · 12:32am Jan 21st, 2017

And now, now it is time for 3 more stories:

Sillen by John_Wheel
Supermoon by Doctor Disco
What's Wrong With the Cutie Map? by Jay-The-Brony

Sillen by John_Wheel
(Comedy, Random)
This is a collaborative fic written by three guys that have English as their second language (at best) in a gdoc while stepping in each other words after reading too many parodies. And I'm the one submitting it because I got the short straw.

Review
So, yeah, I have no words...

This one's pacing cannot be better, like, wow. It has many, many, many errors within the text, but those errors, oddly enough, are in just the right place to be comedic. It is completely random. But the tags are perfect.

Score: 9.5/10 Recommendation: If you need a laugh, and a story to not take seriously, then Highly Recommended.

Personal Thoughts: I truly have no words.

Supermoon by Doctor Disco
(Comedy, Slice of Life)
When Luna is affected by a supermoon, nopony save for Celestia herself could have prepared for what came next. Unfortunately, Celestia forgot. Oops.

Review
Luna goes crazy during the supermoon. Next, comes all the festivities.

The pacing on this is pretty good, but it can get a little long. It has few errors within, which is quite nice. And it seems rather planned out, which, in some ways, can take away from the comedy. The tags work well enough, though.

Score: 7/10 Recommendation: Intermediate.

Personal Thoughts: To be honest, I only read this because of the cover art.

What's Wrong With the Cutie Map by Jay-The-Brony
(Comedy, Random, Slice of Life)
After Pinkie and Rarity come back from their latest mission, Twilight gathers them, along with all of her other friends, in the Friendship Palace. And once together, she tells them all that there may be something wrong with the Cutie Map. Something that, frankly, she feels she should have realized long before now.

Review
Twilight talks about how the Cutie Map is broken because it only rarely gives them friendship problems. The map itself tells them it just isn't feeling it.

So, the pacing on this one is great, but it also seems as though it is missing something. There are, however, few errors in the story. It also seems planned out enough for a story, the rest being random, comedic filler. The tags also work rather well.

Score: 8/10 Recommendation: Worth Reading.

Personal Thoughts: Ok, I did not expect this one to go the way it did.
