My first multi-parter is now officially done...phew!
I have to be honest with you. I was not expecting "The Miracle of Flight" to be this long. It was going to be a simple two part story where you the reader would have to infer a lot of the information. However, because of the awesome encouragement bronies have been putting up in the comments, I decided to beef out the story a bit more. I was a little unsure of how it would come out since I never really delved into a story longer than 3,000 words, but I must say I'm rather pleased with the results!
I just want to express my gratitude for all the readers who favorited and tracked this story. You guys are the reason I do this! I also want to extend a thank you to everyone who put in their two cents during the process. Even if we didn't see eye to eye, I do appreciate the time and effort you put into recommending some tips for me. I have to admit I kind of wrote this as I went along and not a whole lot of planning went into it. That's the part of the process that excites me the most, though. Knowing that no matter what outline or concept you enter a story with, it will always come out differently as ideas flood your mind!
Here's to more multi-parters in the future! I have a new fic uploaded and another in the works, set to premiere this Saturday. Stay tuned!
Okay, change of plans. Today was a helluva crappy day and I just started typing. I apologize for not keeping my own deadline, but certain annoyances out of my control force me to postpone the new fic until tomorrow or possibly Monday. GAAHH
