My Personal Experiences With the Mandela Effect

The Mandela Effect is a topic that has always interested me since learning about it nine years ago.

According to the official website, The Mandela Effect is what happens when someone has a clear memory of something that never happened in this reality.

The website goes on to explain that many of us — mostly total strangers — remember the exact same events with the exact same details. However, our memories are different from what’s in history books, newspaper archives, and so on.

The author of the website explains that this isn’t a conspiracy, and we’re not talking about “false memories.” Many of us speculate that parallel realities exist, and we’ve been “sliding” between them without realizing it.

Now I will document some of my personal experiences with sliding in and out of this current reality.

I know that some of this information might sound crazy or something you can't personally relate with. But try to keep an open mind about the subject as millions of people have also reported similar anomalies in their own lives.

I will refer to the reality I came from as Old Earth and this new reality I have found myself in as New Earth to help distinguish between the two alternate universes.

While still living in Flagstaff (and still on Old Earth) I remember hearing trumpets in the sky. My mom heard them too. And I would ask my friends I knew from all over the world (through meeting them online) about it who told me that they heard the trumpets as well.

Four years later, waking up on New Earth (and now living in Phoenix), my mom and I went to buy cell phones. I remember the technology with touch screens being more advanced than the last technology I remembered on Old Earth (which was flip phones). The websites were more advanced, the gps, car technology; everything seemed more advanced than on Old Earth. It was a bit of a culture shock but having grown up around computers and similar technology on Old Earth, I found it fairly easy to adjust to learning the new technology.

When I shifted over to the New Earth, I noticed that there were subtle changes in my own life too. Like people I had known for years turned out to be just casual friends. It became awkward to keep up conversations with them as they seemed uninterested. I was hurt by this at first but then I realized that I was never close to these individuals in the New Earth reality. It was a rather eye opening experience to learn that even my relationships with people had subtly changed.

I had the same story about meeting them and such. But we just weren't as close in the New Earth reality.

I started noticing that other things around me had subtly changed as well. KitKat no longer had the dash making it Kit-Kat. C-3P0 had a silver leg in the original Star Wars trilogy when I remembered him being completely gold. The vehicle John F. Kennedy was shot in had six seats instead of four. Countries appeared on the map that I had never heard of including Bahrain, Belarus, and Andorra. The continents were in slightly different locations, including New Zealand which was now geographically closer to Australia than it had been on Old Earth. It was also now located to the south of Australia instead of being located to the north east of the continent.

And perhaps the weirdest thing of all; the organs in my body were in different locations and my skeleton was completely different. I remember looking at a skeleton from New Earth and thinking it looked completely alien as compared to the skeleton I grew up learning about on Old Earth. Then I looked at the organs and was shocked to see the heart located in the dead center of the chest when on Old Earth it had been on the left. Most of the organs on new earth were located in the rib cage with the small intestines and large intestines located in the stomach area. On Old Earth the stomach was further down from the rib cage as were some other organs like the kidneys.

I was shocked at how different the bodies and organs of New Earth were. It took my mind a while to wrap my head around everything that was going on.

I learned about the Mandela Effect shortly after shifting into this reality. I felt comforted that millions of other people were remembering the same things that I was.

Many people felt like they had shifted over to be spared from a great tragedy on Old Earth. I myself don't entirely know the reason I shifted over to New Earth but I know that I am not crazy. These things really did change. And millions of other people have noticed the same changes as well.

We may never know the reason why we shifted over into a new reality. But us from the Old Earth are happy that we were spared from whatever great tragedy befell the Earth in the time and place we came from.
