Anyway, on to rambling.
Where in canon does it say Luna can raise the stars? I don't remember where it says this. She definitely can raise the moon, but when does the cartoon show Luna raising the stars?

I have been building headcanon in my spare time, and one part of it is that magic and magnetism interact closely. I also wanted the "iron disrupts magic" theory in my headcanon, and I had a brilliant moment of realization. Unmagnetized iron disperses magic because the magic follows the unaligned magnetic "clumps" of iron and that rips apart the spell because spells cannot sustain themselves after all of their components separate themselves from the spell as a whole. Magnetized iron directs magic to a specific point, because all of the magic is following the pointed "lines" of the magnetized iron!

Discord is the Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony, and one could make the safe assumption that the Tree of Harmony is the Spirit of Harmony. Disharmony opposes Harmony, and Chaos opposes Order. So could there be a Spirit of Order? Or is the Spirit of Order the Tree?

Alicorns, how do they work? I personally subscribe to the theory that there are no "artificial alicorns". That would be like Discord stealing Twilight's horn and calling her an "artificial pegasus". There is the alicorn race, which at the time of this writing has 5 members: Sparkle, Celestia, Luna, Cadance, and Flurry. Celestia and Luna seem to have their manes the way they are because of their connection to the celestial bodies, and when Twilight is lowering the moon and raising the sun (in Twilight's Kingdom), her mane becomes ethereal and gains sparkles. Since Sparkle is mostly likely the Alicorn of Friendship/Magic, what will her mane turn out to be, if at all? And for that matter, Cadance and Flurry Heart?
