    Chapter Update

Sorry for that earlier. I'm writing on mobile and accidentally hit the publish button on the new chapter, but now it's actually done. AND featuring Rarity and Aria. Not a combo you see often.

    I'm so goddamn nervous

I recently applied to the Deggendorf Institute of Technology to make my bachelor in media technology. Sound design, graphics, 3D animation, the whole shebang.

Today I was invited to a presentation on what we can expect. Never in my life was I so excited, yet afraid at the same time. This is it. This is what I need to conquer to be a step closer to my dream of my own series.

My Worst Nighmare Ever · 12:04am Jan 3rd, 2017

So, the reason for this blog post is that I've been watching reaction videos to scary Top 10s the entire evening and now it's getting to me. (I already know that I'm a little bitch.) I thought maybe talking about the worst nightmare I've ever had would maybe help. Please note that everything from here on out is just from my dream. So here we go.

It was actually not that long ago that I had this one. My parents went out for the night as usual on a Friday or Saturday and I stayed at home. I don't like being around people I don't know, so I typically just watch YouTube and Anime series on my computer. The only other people in the building were my great-grand parents, sleeping on the top floor. The same floor our (let's say) "appartment" got built on.

We live pretty far out of the city, with not many houses in our region, so it's pretty rare that somebody rings at our door unexpectedly. Especially at night. But I heard our door bell. That alone was enough to make me uneasy, but I just thought that it maybe was my parents. That they forgot something and dropped or broke the key or something. Or maybe they couldn't take off their gloves and put the key in. It was winter afterall.

But being the cautious scaredy cat that I am, I still checked the intercom. To my surprise, and proving my paranoid suspicions to be true, it wasn't my parents. Somehow I could see his face. He was a teenager. About as old as me. His face was quite long and thin and he had spiky blond hair. He wore a dark blue Poloshirt and jeans and shoes. Nothing else. I can't deny a certain resemblance to myself when I actually put effort into my looks. He was tall and athletic looking. He also wore a warm smile on his face. The kind that says: "You can trust me."

He told me his name was Darius. Or maybe he didn't. When I woke up I just had the name Darius in my head. He told me that his car broke down and wanted to use our phone. Probably the most cliched story a serial killer could tell. I told him exactly that . That I don't trust him and won't let him in. He kept on begging me to let open the door, but I continued to fend him off with my words. Only after a few minutes did he seemingly give up. He chuckled, said "Okay." and went to his car.

I stayed at the intercom for a few seconds and I was glad to have stayed alert. Because what I heard next was the sound of something hitting our glass door. It was Darius who got a crowbar from his car and pounded it against our door, his friendly expression completely lost.

I stood there terrified of what was going to happen next. I knew what would happen next. There was this psycho, bashing our door in, killing me when he was done and lord only would've known when he'd find my great-grand parents. I needed to do something. I knew I needed to do something. I needed to get the biggest knife in our kitchen and kill his ass cold.

But I still stood there. Next to the intercom. Gasping for air and scared shitless. The world turned black and the only two spots illuminated were the area around the intercom, where I broke down, and the area around our front door, finally being breached.

Then I woke up. I think what makes this the WORST nightmare of my life is the fact that this is the one that's most realistic. This could very well actually happen one day.
