Hah. I got drunk.

I got drunk for the first time in my life. I always wondered how it would feel like. I don't feel bad in the slightest but I haven't really built up my tolerance. You know, I'm glad so many of you like my work. I know its a little serious but sometimes we need that seriousness in our life to add a bit of meaning to it. It can't always be sunshine and rainbows but at the same time it doesn't need to be dark as it possibly could be. While I do like the darker topics I prefer there to be an at least somewhat good ending even bittersweet at the very least. I probably won't remember this post in the morning but I felt I had to say something for all writers out there.

People will always criticize what you work on but you can't let their words halt your creative spirit. Unless they have stood against the tide of criticism themselves then they have no right to speak poorly about others work. Even those that are published don't deserve that right. Not because they are biased but because they need to look at the bigger picture and see what genre they wrote for. No one genre is the true epitome of its time. Even my own work is only a novice attempt at an epic storyline. It's up to those out there and the readers to decide if that story is worth their time.

I'm glad some people have given their time to read my work and I'm happy to say that I write for your enjoyment even if it takes a while to get something worthwhile for all of you to read. Stay well all writers out there and don't be afraid to write what you believe in. That's what I believe in but I am slightly drunk so take what I say with a grain of salt.
