Ok, so I went and made like Twilight today before sitting down to outline a new story and looked up the Anon-A-Miss storyline, deleted scenes that would have been nice material (The Cafe scene and the intended Duet in Friendship games will be harvested, oh yes...) and did some poking around the older episodes for call-backs.
So here's my choices:
A divergent introspective one-shot that is more canonical than Homecoming?
Continuation of the Homecoming headcanon, both one-shot AND chapter story?
Adventures of Azure the Bard?
Cutie Mark Crusaders story?
Those are just some ideas kicking around. And even though I'm only two stories in on the site at the moment and said I was going to go back to my original fic, I'm still hopelessly writer's blocked there. But writing a Sword Art Online fic helped me last time and it grew into a second chapter story (KiritoXLisbeth OTP) so I figure might as well run the horse, so to speak.
