I don't know how to feel about the 'year of death' actually. 
Lots of awesome people aren't with us anymore, and that does suck, and I really only made one (if well-received) update on the site the whole year. Quite a few of my friends, family and acquaintances have been slammed with troubles from near January to December, as well.
But, I have been hammering out a lot of things behind the scenes for both planning and practice, and think I'm in a good position going forwards. I've met some more wonderful people, helped on some great stories. Heck, I've got and kept a job I've been told I'm doing great at, and it's physically demanding and paying enough that I've never been in better shape both physically and economically.
'Bitter-sweet mixed-blessings,' I think about sums it up. Personally, at least.
Still, have a happy and safe New Years, and I wish everybody the best of luck in 2017!
