Still burnt out. · 8:18pm Dec 30th, 2016

I tried writing some more for Pet Changeling, and it turns out that what I thought must've been at least 500 words was closer to 50. I swear, two character interactions and I feel like falling asleep from the effort, which is pathetic!\

What's even worse is that I'm getting inspiration for other story ideas, but the will to write them is just non-existent.

Thank you all for still holding out in hopes that I'll update someday, and I do plan on it, I just don't know when. I'm in the middle of finding a better job that will actually pay my bills so that I can move out of my parents house, as of right now I make barely $800 a month. The new job I'm looking into will pay 500-750$ a week!

If I'm able to get that, then I should have less things stressing me out, though I still have to deal with a traffic ticket and everything but I never have the money to even deal with it.

Take your time. Real life is more important than us. We'll still be here when you get back. In the meantime, I wish you the best of luck.

Take your time! Real life and sanity are a lot more important than ponies believe it or not. :pinkiegasp: Just know that I am available on Steam and a bunch of other places should you feel like screaming or something

One thing I would like to point out is that making more money and moving out of the parent's house are *not* mutually dependent. As much as right now this instant you feel as if you're in prison (as we all did at that age), moving out with zero savings is a fool's action. Provided that the new job is still convenient to your present location, consider a year. At the end of that year, you know the new job will last, you'll have a much better idea of *where* you would like to move, and if you're not a damned fool (as I was) and burn that money as fast as it arrives, you will have cash for things like 'deposits' and 'connection fees' which multiply like rabbits. BUDGET, darnit.

Gonna second Georg here. Please take care of the traffic ticket and have enough saved up for the apartment deposit, etc. so you can get an actual, reasonable start.

Right there with you. History Lesson, my first published story, was supposed to have been getting a new chapter for a few months now. I wish I were kidding when I said that... I had to learn this previous semester to be a student first and a brony writer second. My grades desperately needed me to learn this.

Taking a break (more accidentally than on purpose) gave me more time to mull over ideas and concepts. So, not all negative, I suppose. Now, I just need to get those concepts out of my head and into the story. For me, it's mostly about blocking out distractions to just sit down and actually write the darn thing.

Thanks for keeping us all posted! Just do what you need to do and come back when you feel you are ready. Some of the other comments I saw have some really good points too. [old man voice] As the youngsters are sayin' these days: you do you! :derpytongue2:
