I'm making two copies of the same blog post for my two active stories, because I don't know if you can/how to tag more than one story in a blog.
So, for future updates of my stories, I've kind of wondered what any of y'all that follow them thought of my rate/quality of updates. My current rate is looking like each story will update on alternating weeks, or each story will update every other week. That is if I stay at my current rate (which I've been more productive than normal lately) If that's working for y'all, I have no problems keeping up this pace and pumping out chapters of about 10k words every week.
The other option, that I'd like to present for your consideration, is I could release shorter chapters, but they would release more often (maybe one to two updates a week for each story, so 2-4 updates a week). Again, that's if I keep working at my current pace. If I were to do this, you'd get content more often, but the chapters would be shorter (2-3k words each, max). This wouldn't be my favored option, but I could make it work.
I'm asking y'all, because I fell kind of bad that I don't update that often. I tend to draw an outline of events I want to happen in each chapter, and continue writing until everything has happened, I then sleep on the chapter before reading back through it and changing anything I don't agree with. The only difference with shorter chapters, is I'd write the same way, but less would happen in each chapter, so rather than having one big chapter hitting five events, I'll have five small chapters hitting one event. With this method I could have one chapter for each story released today, but if y'all feel I would be sacrificing quality for quantity, I'd have no problem holding back.
Feedback would be appreciated, and I hope y'all have a happy new year!
