I have about 50 stories on my "read it later" library shelf. When I feel the need to read I tend to either search by word count (if I'm very limited by time) or by likes. Taking Recommendations

I tend to read a lot from my phone and iPad. Luckily this here website lets you download an entire fanfic in epub format which ends up directly in my ebook app. I'm usually reading two stories at any given time. One on my ipad and one on my iphone, literally dependent on whichever I have in my hand at any particular time.
So if you want to recommend something, message me and let me know!

I have about 50 stories on my "read it later" library shelf. When I feel the need to read I tend to either search by word count (if I'm very limited by time) or by likes. There are a lot of stories that I realize are ridiculously popular by merit of being "classic" and that have been around since forever. Or they have spawned their own section of stories based off an alternate universe or maybe a single character.

The story with the fewest likes on my favorites list has 28 at the time of this writing and is called "My Life as a Post-Adolescent Pony" by Unicorncob. Read it HERE.
The incredibly realistic take on human-becomes-pony blew my mind and I hope Unicorncob continues it.
The story with the most likes on my favorites list has 10719 at the time of this writing and is the ever-popular Past Sins by Pen Stroke. Read it HERE
Character growth, a well done plot arc, and an adorable main character. Written early enough and well enough to be mentioned in multiple places and get me to this website in the first place. This is one of what I consider to be a proper "Classic".

I don't know how one story gets to the front page and incidentally a ton of views. Unicorncob had a story on the front page and it got over 300 likes from the experience, compared to the longer running story that has 12 right now. Most of Pen Stroke's stories get hundreds of likes, usually over 1000 just for being written by Pen Stroke.
It's always difficult to find those little gems in the sand, and sometimes it turns out that it may not be a gem to others like it is to you.
I'll post a recommended list of the least popular and most popular stories I've read. Least popular, to give them some recognition . Most popular, to see if everyone has read the same popular fics I have.

I am currently reading the works of Dovah Vahlok, the Austraeoh series (Utaan, the most recent book) and an actual novel by Dan Wells call Over Your Dead Body.

Haha it's crazy that you dug that old comment up. Whenever I see a reply to a comment I've made on this site, my first thought it "oh crap, what did I say?" but yeah it's a great story, and your writing is on point. Do you have an idea what kind of direction you'd want to take the story? Just curious

Yeah, I know what you mean, I've felt the same often :rainbowlaugh:

Honestly I'm not too sure, I'm probably gonna include a few small story arcs as it goes, but there's definitely gonna be something to Sharp Sight's popping up :raritywink:
