The Ramblings of a Spirited Individual, Entry 2 · 5:56am Dec 28th, 2016
As the old song says, we're just dust in the wind, we're here for such a short time...
And life is so... so scarily fragile. It's terrifying to think that everything we've ever done, owned, seen, experienced, could be all gone in one tiny moment.
And it could be unavoidable. It is unavoidable, really, death catches up to even the greatest of people. It catches up to everyone.
Funny how people take such pride in their lives, bettering...
This is getting too deep.
I love our mortality, honestly. If given the chance to live forever I wouldn't say no just because everyone I love would die, I embrace the idea of death. Acknowledging every moment as possibly one of my last moments has brought so much clarity and appreciation in my life. I enjoy the little things more. Dying, or merely being a speck in the universe no one will miss in due time, is nothing to be worried about. It's simply another thing in life to embrace.
