All right, fine. You win. · 11:29pm Dec 27th, 2016
2016, as of today you have earned your "Shittiest Year of the Century" Award with flying colors. We don't even have to check the other 84.
What's there to be said? You were clearly gunning for it so damned hard!
I hope you're proud of yourself
Yep, earned that title with flying pieces of shit covering that award.
So glad that it's ending shortly.
Hopefully, 2017 will be much better. We're getting the ACTUAL MLP Movie, as well as Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter, A Monster Calls, and many, many, many more great things next year...
This year is no worse than any other. Individuals can have good years, but the world can't. The media always tries to hype things as being "the worst ever". Gets them more views.
Damnit all! Why must you tempt Murphy so?!?!?!

You officially owe me a new No-Shit-Sherlock-O-Meter.
4358111 Perhaps he deserves a promotion to Brigadier General Obvious.
4358112
Dang. I already promoted Shadowmane to that rank last year.
::sigh:: Well, only one way to solve this.
Awww, come on... I'm sure there's at least one world war coming this century, so let's keep that award open a couple years longer.
4358111 I'm sorry.
The cynic in me believes that we're seeing here is the prologue to 2017+: The George R. R. Martin Years.
In other words, this isn't actually the bad part.
This is just raising the stakes.
One good thing occurred t the very least, Bookish....you came back to us! That I worth putting up with pretty much anything.
Glad you're back!
This is what pushed me into finally declaring that this year sucks.
If it helps at all, this year did, at least, play host to the elimination of the Endangered status of several species, including the Giant Panda, Humpback Whales, and Manatees. They are recovering, and have finally gotten out of endangered.
Also we might have bionic eyes in the near future, and mind controlled robotic prosthetics are a thing now. We paid a steep price this year, and I fear it isn't over yet, but at least it wasn't all horrible.
In other words, nowhere to go but up.
No arguments here.
I'm at least glad I have friends and family I've been able to weather it with, and I hope the same has held true for you and others. *hug*
And, now Debbie Reynolds.

....wow. >_< She was old-school, too.
The timing is surreal.

Feels like this last week, 2016 has decided to go for one a day.
I Really really really hope that doesn't wind up being true.
