    The Economics of a Wasteland

    Well.

This is a long overdue post, isn't it? Looking back, I honestly can't believe it's been five years since the last chapter released, and, to get to the point straight away, WEcon is not coming back.

Wherein I admit I'm Terrible at Blogging Regularly

    I'm terrible at blogging regularly.

Really, I am. I know this, and every time I break silence to say "this time will be different," a small part of me knows I can't keep that up. And on top of that I know that back in October I promised y'all Chapter 17 would be out in November. Clearly, that never happened. So let me clear the air on one thing, absolutely and definitively:

Blogpost 6/26/2017 - Where the heck is Chapter 16?

A perfectly justified question and a complicated answer. As a short answer, Chapter 16 has been delayed by a huge project that Pipistrelle had to take on for work. I've actually seen how much of her time it's been demanding of her, and seen her work through most weekends for the past several months. Perhaps I could have tried to release Chapter 16 in a state without her going through the

Blogpost 4/10/17 - Breaking the Silence

Alright, remember when I said that I have a bad habit of keeping quiet if I have nothing to report? Yeah, that kinda happened for a bit there. I got crazy busy IRL (and also maybe a bit too absorbed into NieR Automata), but I return with good news! Chapter 16's draft is complete, and editing has begun!

    Blogpost 2/13/17 - 3 Years of WEcon

Holy shit, 3 years already. It's kind of amazing to me that I've managed to stick with this for as long as I have, and I have y'all to thank for it. Writing this story and seeing people actually enjoy it enough to talk about it in my comments section has been such an emotional rollercoaster, and I know it sounds cliche, but I really, truly cannot thank you guys enough for the joy you've given

Holy Cow, Ham Lives? · 3:39pm Dec 19th, 2016

Yes, yes I am alive. I do apologize for the extended silence. I have several bits of good news and at least one bit of bad news.

First, the bad news: Chapter 15 of Wasteland Economics is not yet complete.

But now the good news! Chapter 15 is fully drafted, and is now in editing! Chapter 16 is currently underway, and I have made a commitment to myself to finish the draft by January 1st. Currently sitting at about 1/3 complete, but I got this. There were several reasons for the delay, most of them bad, but one of them a continuation of the problems I ran into writing chapter 14. I think I've finally gotten over the hump, and I'm writing a bit every day now.

Going forward, I'll announce to y'all my resolution for 2017 will be to have a backlog of at least one chapter. I want to have one chapter in editing, and one in drafts constantly, rather than letting myself take it easy for a few weeks after a new chapter comes out, like I've always done. As an extension to that, I also plan to renew my pledge for weekly blogposts to keep y'all in the loop.

To everyone who has been patiently waiting for the updates, thank you so much for sticking around, and I sincerely hope y'all enjoy Chapter 15!

Hurray for the fact you're not quite dead yet, hurrah!
I suppose this means its....hamming time?

Huh. That reminds me that I still haven't read chapter 14. I need to be in a special mood to deal with that kind of stuff... :unsuresweetie:
Well, that means I'll soon have two chapters two catch up. Which is positive ;)
Happy writing.

As a fellow writter to another:

My advice is to try and even force yourself to write at least one page when you finally get to sitting down and writing. Not force yourself in the negative connotation, just be sure that when you write, one page a day is the minimum. It really helps.

Plus, Yay! You're alive! I really love your story and it is trully amazing and one of a kind. I hope that my Crimson Tide will be as good one day as yours is ^_-
