When I first got a closed-caption capable TV, I checked the captions on the movie "Staying Alive" and it showed [one of] the lyrics [for this song] as "The New York Town's effect on man." I've heard a cheap cover version (possibly on one of the Irwin the Disco Duck albums) where they sang it as "The New York Times your paper, man." I've tried to look up the correct lyrics and [it] seems that nobody really knows!
