Greetings Gotham, Joker here! Well, I've decided to do a Ben Solo/Kylo Ren story. Don't worry, it's not a Displaced this time, this Kylo Ren is in fact the genuine article. Let me give you the story of how I came up with this:
Yesterday afternoon I was browsing this site looking for trouble when I found a story called "Second Chance" by GhostRider666. The story's big idea was that Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker was sent to Equestria after he passed away in Episode VI by the Force (which took the form of some kinda goddess) to redeem himself for his past crimes. Honestly, the concept was actually pretty good. The execution/writing on the other hand left a great deal to be desired. So, saying, "Pfft, I can write better than that!" I began formulating my own version. Problem was, I couldn't use Annie unless I wanted to be accused of ripping GhostRider666, so I settled for Vader's grandson/uber fanboy, Benjamin Han (not sure if that's his actual middle name, but I thought it'd be cool if it was) Solo, aka Kylo Ren. And if anybody needed a chance to redeem themselves for their past crimes in an alternate reality BESIDES Anakin Skywalker, it'd be Kylo Ren, especially since he killed his own father and my favorite scruffy-looking nerf herder and/or smuggler.
As of now, I'm still fine-tuning the story itself, I do have a general idea for it. One thing that should be noted is that the Kylo Ren in this story is actually STRONGER THAN DARTH VADER. But, not by much. I also plan on shipping Ben with Princess Luna.

..... this is a ridiculously dangerous idea and Vader is stated to be stronger then Ren since one of his problems is that HE'S SUPPOSED TO BE TRYING TO GET BETTER. So honestly.... I'm exceedingly nervous.... like I haven't been this nervous since Fant4stic.

Well, this particular story is set in an AU that takes place 8 years after Episode VII, so his power level has increased. Also, the reason I say Kylo's stronger than Vader is primarily for this reason: Kylo can use abilities that Vader more or less can't. For example, right out of the gate in Episode VII, Kylo freezes a blaster bolt in midair. All Vader can do his just hold up and kinda absorb the bolt somehow. Another example is how Kylo can use the Force to interrogate people, while Vader has to use a mind probe.
4339749 Vader can interrogate with the force easily. I mean YOU WOULD SPILL THE GUTS IF YOU WERE BEING CHOKED. On top of that sure Ren's power of stopping a bolt is fancy.... but it's LIGHT BASED. AKA when he had GOOD in him... now? He's just angry and a big old whiny bitch. Vader has killed Jedi Masters and knights AND Padawans. What has Ren done? ONLY killed Padawans. He is, without a doubt, weaker then Vader.
