VHS Opening: Drop Zone (06/15/95, Paramount) · 12:58pm Dec 13th, 2016

Following the Coming Attractions bumper (this was said to mark the first time that bumper had Paramount's then-new Viacom byline) we have previews for Congo, The Indian and the Cupboard, I.Q. and Star Trek: Generations. Then comes the Feature Presentation bumper and warning screen, then a format screen (remember when there was such a thing as a widescreen VHS? Few circulate these days, and I think few circulated back then.) It also has the Paramount logo but with the Viacom byline; the last films using the Paramount Communications byline were plastered with a version with the Viacom byline. The uploader left the opening credits intact, particularly so that folks could look for Mr. Noodle. (:pinkiecrazy:)

Drop Zone is a 1994 American action film directed by John Badham, starring Wesley Snipes, Gary Busey, Yancy Butler, Mr. Noodle Michael Jeter, Luca Bercovici and Kyle Secor. The film bears some resemblance to the 1994 action film Freefall, which is about a skydiving spy who uncovers a plot to expose the identities of undercover Interpol agents. Drop Zone was released in the United States on December 9, 1994. It was not a success for Paramount, making $28,735,315 against a $45 million budget.
