I know that I'm late in reviewing this news, but better late than never like I always say!:D And I had to, considering how it relates to one of my wishes for Season 7. For those who do or don't remember, one of my main wishes for Season 7 of MLP is to see more exploration of Equestrian history since Seasons 5 & 6 felt like transition season building to some kind of climax and reveal in form of things like MLP lore exploration:) And we might get just that, or at least hints of it, based some news just released from the writer behind the upcoming Friendship Is Magic Comics Issues 51-53. Apparently according the writer, this comic arc will be tying in with Season 7:D
Here's the synopsis of Issues 51-53 (and the reason why Season 7 might hint at some more Equestrian History)
Twilight is startled to find that the most important history books in Equestria are going missing. Will she and her friends be able to uncover the identity of the mysterious new villain responsible?
First off, I was already excited for this comic before it's tie in with Season 7:D This news from the writer just had made me so hype for both this comic AND Season 7 that you just, you don't even knowXD
Anyway, one of my predictions for this comic and for Season 7 is the reveal of a time traveling Clover the Clever:D It can't be just me that the mysterious pony on the cover looks like Clover the Clever;) Despite her coat being grey, she's got some purple streaks in her mane like Twilight. Will Clover the Clever be perhaps Twilight's ancestor or just be like MoonDancer where she just looks like Twilight to bring some similarities & differences between her and our favorite princess of friendship and books?;) Only time and this comic can tell;) What do you guys think? I think the villain in the upcoming comic arc is a male because the hooves are different from the coat color. Some stallions are known to have that.

Ooohh, that's a good point:) The mysterious pony could be male, but in the picture, it has a short cute muzzle like a mare's. What if...the mysterious pony...is both female and male?!:0 Haha lol jk;)

That is good point, and how that I look at the cover more, I can see more of a square stallion jaw on this mysterious pony:) It makes me wonder: descendent of Starswirl or Clover the Clever perhaps?;)
