Class/Job Changes in Final Fantasy · 7:41pm Dec 10th, 2016
Just one more question for y'all. Now as some of you may know, in some Final Fantasy games, one can change classes/jobs such as Fighter, White Mage, Black Mage, ect, instead of sticking to one. Now I'm not going to do class/job changes in my final fantasy fic, all of the characters have set classes/jobs. But I'm just curious, do you think a Final Fantasy MLP FIM crossover could still work if there were class/job changes in it?
I think maybe have it work a bit like 14 were you have a base job that once the character gets skilled enough (high enough lvl) they unlock the full potential of it like in 14 the Conjuror becomes the summoner or lancer into the Dragoon
4335153 To be honest. If my Final Fantasy crossover does well enough, I may write a sequel one day. If I do,write a sequel, then I probably will have it similar to Final Fantasy X-2. I know that game gets some flak, but I enjoyed it. I loved the dressphere system and I have always wanted to convey it in story form. But my current FF fic will stick to a basic one class per character system.
4335160 I had no problem with X-2 job class system is was nice to see it again most flak came from the story and the characters and the bad writing.
4335162 Yeah, I admit the story wasn't as good at FFX's, but I enjoyed it all the same.
