    Sincere Shilling!

If you like D&D stuff, or just tabletop rpg stuff in general, one of the people I follow online is trying to get funding to create something to sell for Dungeon Masters to increase immersion.

    Happy Holidays

This is your yearly reminder that I wrote a decently funny Christmas story in the long-ago times. If you haven't read it, you should! If you have read it, maybe you should just stick with blurred memories of how good it was.

    Books!

So, due to my high level connections here and there, I now have an advance copy of several highly sought after ponyfic books. Now that I've had a chance to check several of them out in person, I have to say that Ponyfeather Publishing does excellent work. Anyone able to pick one up, at Bronycon or ordering them afterward, should totally do so.

Last Week on City Of Doors 7/7/2019

So, I've actually been posting on my primary blog lately. Which has been nice, given that I've pulled myself out of depression enough to actually do stuff like that. So, here's been my daily content over there:

Anime: Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress

Big Master Review List, simplified · 6:18am Dec 10th, 2016

Just updated the simple BMRL.

Here you go.

If that link doesn't work for anyone, please let me know. Also some feedback on if people find that faster or not would help.

Now to prove best Princess with cold hard numbers.
Celestia / Sun : 88 / 203
Luna / Moon: 107 / 94
Cadance / Cadence / Mi Amore Cadenza : 7 / 6 / 8
Skyla / Flurry Heart : 0 / 3

Huh. So, Luna is best Princess but the Sun is best heavenly object apparently. Was not expecting the word 'Sun' to be so popular.

Oh right! I did forget. I shouldn't be biased and include other confirmed royalty.

Shining Armor :
Blueblood :

*rainbow laser to face*

Ahem. I mean,
Twilight Sparkle / Twilight / Sparkle : 100 / 268 / 130
Of course, the first number overlaps both of the others but I figured just Twilight is used enough.

So I guess, technically, Princess Twilight Sparkle is best princess if we consider some of the Twilight is referring to her and not actual sunset/sunrise twilight.

Er, don't forget that your search numbers include author names as well as story titles. "Twilight" is boosted by Twilight Clopple, TwilightSnarkle, etc. "Sun" includes Closer-To-The-Sun, KitsuneRisu, Morning Sun, etc. Also, "Sun" in titles includes Sunset Shimmer.

Since I have not searched to see whether "Luna" or "Moon" are similarly affected, Luna is clearly objectively best princess.

Chrysalis / Queen : 13 / 23
Ember / dragon : 25 / 968

Objectively best royalty discovered. :moustache:

Well, some of the Twilights in the count (Doncha just love the multiverse?) are Twilight-before-ascension, so that is also a debatable consideration. Also, I think Horizon isn't considering the huge popularity of dragonfly fics in his assessment.

No, I'm sorry gentlemen, but the only way to truly determine Best Princess Royalty is the time-honored method:

Cage Match! :pinkiehappy:

Oh yeah, and no Skyla fics at all? I may need to correct that situation.

I'm pretty sure there are some Skyla fics. They just don't have her name in the title.

Yeah, the author inclusion was more or less deliberate. Gotta see how popular a princess is in how many authors use them in their screennames after all.
